I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. Alma 29:9

Viva Hartsvegas!

Viva Hartsvegas!

Well everything has been going fantastic here. It's great because spring is starting and everything is blooming. So you may get more flower and tree pictures than you would like but i'm trying to even it out. In the past week a lot has happened, so last monday i decided i was going to fix up my bike to make it ride really smooth. Because the past while something has been wrong with the back tire. Turns out that my axle was broken in half which then destroyed the inside of my back rim. Luckily a lot of missionaries went home from this area and left their bikes. So i've been able to salvage them for parts. My bike should be completely fixed by the end of the day.

As for my teeth i should get them fixed this week. But yes it's that one tooth and there's another one also. But it will all be taken care of.

I haven't done it yet but the guy with the corvette said i could get my picture taken IN the car. Oh and i almost forgot, i need you to gather up about $18,000 dollars because actually it's for sale. And my birthday is in a few months so there's one idea. Haha!

Well i conducted my first DDM as the district leader and i feel that it went really great. I did my first training on teaching by the spirit. I was able to ramble on for the whole hour and a half. It was really funny though because back in the MTC elder fugal and i always sang there is sunshine in my soul today. So when he came in the room he called playing the piano. So i told him to turn to that page number and he got really excited. But basically i got it figured out.

Now to describe Elder Harding, he's allowed me to use this description, he is a nerd. So basically we talk about Tron and Star Wars a little too often. But don't worry we have some great gospel discussions all the time as well. He's from Orem, Utah (he's in our area dad i just forgot where). He really enjoys the trumpet, played in marching band and is going to invent tron one day.

But in other news, we have some new investigators! We taught a lady named Miriam and she's just fantastic, she was a referral from a member and so we just went to her house and she was sitting on her porch. So we sat on the swinging bench and taught her the restoration. She should be coming to conference this week and when we were walking away we saw her reading the book of mormon! Then we had a short discussion with a girl named Danielle, and when we taught her about prophets and that one will be speaking this weekend it just clicked. So she said that she will come to the afternoon session on Sunday.

It's great, we made some conference invitations and we started passing them out to everyone. Well we got to church yesterday and people were talking about it and we realized that we have a two hour difference from Utah... so we fixed the flyers today and now we have to go replace all of the ones that we passed out.

So i don't know if any of y'all have seen the bible videos the church has been making, and if you haven't then i suggest you watch them right after you're done reading this fantastic letter. Go to www.lds.org/bible-videos and watch them because they are probably some of the greatest things ever, we've been going around showing them to all of the members. Also there's an app that you can get on your phones and tablets!

But anyway that's about all i got right now,

I love y'all!

Elder K. Olsen
