I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. Alma 29:9

Fun Filled P-Day

Kay so i don't have a lot of time to write today because we have tons of plans for Pday. I'm actually in the library right now in flip flops and my snowbird hat, which really threw off the employees. It was pretty funny. But today we're going to a members house to hang out and play baseball with the youth. Then a couple other members will be taking us to the beach for lunch and we'll be able to ride the sky wheel, i guess it's a big ferris wheel on the beach. Then we get right back to teaching!

But church was amazing! We had a ton of investigators at church, on saturday we taught the Kellets and they are all on date for april 7, and they all came to church and loved it. The members were so great too, it was the perfect sunday for the Kellets to come. Then Lillian came to church also and we'll be teaching her again tonight! She's really good friends now with the members as well. Peggy wasn't able to come to church because her knee is hurting her really bad, but she's getting it taken care of this week and "should" be able to come to church next week.

We find out about transfer calls on saturday! I'm freaking out because there's a really good chance that i'm getting transferred. Because i've been here 7 months and i just finished training! But if i could just stay one more transfer that would be great because we have a lot of baptisms coming up!

We were finally able to talk to John again this week but we haven't been able to see him. But the problems that delayed his baptism are being taken care of so that's a plus!

The Jennings neighbor that we are teaching is Donnie. He's a really awesome guy with a really awesome car. We haven't been able to teach a full lesson yet, but he's really excited about coming to church and has actually told the Jennings a couple times that he is excited. It's nice when the investigators fellowship the members on their own.

We got the car back this week! My legs needed it too. I'm sure biking can be fun and everything, but it's not as great when you're being forced to do it. Plus we've been having bike troubles this week. My bike started making this really loud screeching sound, but eventually we took care of it. Elder Brimhall crashed on his bike this week as well. But that's because he built a jump went off it and didn't quite land it.. On the bright side i got the whole thing on video! Another Elder Olsen documentary.

So spring is actually beginning here. There is pollen everywhere! We wake up in the morning and the car is covered in this yellow dust. But luckily my allergies haven't been reacting.

Anyways i love y'all!

Elder K. Olsen
