I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. Alma 29:9

Whole lot of Humitidy

Hey!

So i have to admit that i laughed a bit when i heard that it was hot over in Utah. This weekend has been from110-115 degrees with a whole lot of humidity. It's ridiculous because i stepped outside yesterday morning at 9 am and it was already 100 degrees and i could see the humidity it was so thick. But as for fire stories we definitely didn't have anything quite as exciting.

This week ended off pretty good but it took foreever! Haha, it was funny because after i learned so much about 'Ocean trials' last week and how they make us grow. Then i read the talk by President Eyring about having Mountains to climb. Well i did something rather foolish and prayed for one of those trials so that i could grow. I can assure you that the Lord hears and answers our prayers.

But i truly learned a lot this week! I learned that everything depends on my attitude. Because when everything started going bad we started talking about why everything was going bad and then it got worse. But then i learned at the end of the week that if i just have a determined and good attitude that everything will work out. I also learned that two very great words will get me far, those words are, "I WILL." Elder Dietz and i have been saying that a lot and it keeps us motivated. I really don't know any logical reason to not go on a mission. I've grown so much from this experience and if i would've stayed back home i feel like i wouldve just played video games and went snowboarding. Basically i would've stayed a child, and i have too many dreams i need to accomplish that a childs attitude cannot handle.

David is doing great! I know i say this every week but i just love that guy! We came by the other day and he brought out a notepad full of scripture references and questions. Plus he's mentioned many times that he can feel the Holy spirit more strongly with him.

There's not a ton to report this week besides that i'm happy and i love being a missionary!
Also i will find many investigators this week and the Hartsville area will grow!

Love y'all!

Elder Olsen and Elder Harding with David.  They let the Priest who would come to David's discussions baptize him.

Elder Olsen and his new bike.  It has made a difference having a bike with tires that actually work :)

Kyle's new companion, Elder Dietz.  Yes, this is a picture of his head with Kyle's body...silly boys
